The Great Lakes Bay College and Career Resource Center provides college and career assistance and resources to all ages. Learn how to access and use the resources on our website and refer students and parents to our office for one on one assistance. Our mascot, Tommy the Toucan visits elementary schools with fun color sheets including steps for college readiness because You TouCAN go to college! We have free college prep survival kits for middle and high school students. These kits are highly sought after as they assist in keeping students organized while planning for college and a career. This kit includes resources to assist in choosing a major and career based on skills, talents, and passion, visiting and applying to institutions, free money for college including state and federal grants along with scholarships and credentials. Our GED program exists to give parents and other adults the resources they need to study, sign up, and pay for the GED following. We provide resources to assist adults in seeking higher education to attain a career that enables them to better support themselves and their families. We are excited to support Michigan College Access Network and the governor's new goal of 60% of our residents holding some type of post-secondary credential by 2030. Credentials include skilled trades, certificates, and all degrees.
